Tuesday, 1/21/14, Captiva Fishing Report: Helping A Pelican ~ Sanibel, Captiva & North Captiva, #Captiva

On today’s Captiva fishing charter … we often see a pelican or another bird that needs a little help.  We aided this fellow a while back; he had some debris wrapped around its wing and neck.  He was bit feisty and difficult to catch, but we nabbed him and carefully removed the debris.

He (or she) was fine and seemed quite fit and had no other issues!  We help birds and wildlife all the time and sometimes take them to the Crow Clinic For Wildlife Rehabilitation on Sanibel.
