On today’s Captiva fishing charter, we went offshore of Captiva to fish one of our secret Grouper wrecks!
There the Grouper were fantastic, and the nice thing about Grouper is that they are fantastic fighters!
There will quickly grab your bait and then try to quickly swim back into the rock pile; if you do not act fast you will lose the fish!
On another note, we at captivafishing.net would like to say that this year has been one of the best years we have seen in a very long time in terms of Redfish. It has been many years since we have seen the Redfish really schooled up off the Sanibel oyster bar. But this year the schools of reds from our youth have returned. There are literally hundreds of Redfish that, on many days, are found swimming near the oyster bar, and you can literally cast right on top of a school of fish and get a hit within five seconds! It’s an amazing experience and we could not be happier!
Book a Sanibel & Captiva fishing charter or North Captiva fishing or Cayo Costa Islands shelling charter, and we’ll have a lot of fun!
Please call 239-472-8658 to book a charter.
We’re located at Castaways Marina, Santiva, Sanibel Island, just before the Blind Pass bridge to Captiva Island.
Whether you’re a longtime customer who has fished with us for many years or a first-time customer, expert fisherman or just a family with young children out to catch fish and have fun, you are going to enjoy being out in the boat with Hank and me! We greatly appreciate your friendship and business!!!
