On today’s Captiva fishing charter … tarpon and sharks were feeding on the jacks and spanish mackerel feeding on the threadfin herring off the Captiva beach!

It was wild!  This is what makes October one of the best fishing months in Sanibel and Captiva!

Must have caught and released ten or fifteen black nose sharks in an hour … we almost hooked a tarpon, but the sharks were incredibly aggressive and we couldn’t get the bait to the tarpon before the sharks got it!

With a little more time, I think we could have hooked a tarpon!  Going back out there this morning!

Book a Sanibel & Captiva fishing charter or North Captiva fishing or Cayo Costa Islands shelling charter, and we’ll have a lot of fun!

Please call 239-472-8658 to book a charter.

We’re located at Castaways Marina, Santiva, Sanibel Island, just before the Blind Pass bridge to Captiva Island.

Whether you’re a longtime customer who has fished with us for many years or a first-time customer, expert fisherman or just a family with young children out to catch fish and have fun, you are going to enjoy being out in the boat with Hank and me!  We greatly appreciate your friendship and business!!!
