On today’s charter the day started off with Hank enjoying the ride and the sun as we headed over to Redfish pass to start the day off with some action.

Once we had arrived at Redfish Pass we decided  to fish the grass beds that are around and in the pass.

There we caught a ton of Ladyfish, Jacks, which are fish which you cannot eat but are fun to catch.

Along with a lot of Spanish Mackerel, and a few really nice Sea Trout as well, which you can eat.

After that we decided to go offshore of Captiva to try for Grouper.

Once we got a good way offshore of Captiva we used my GPS to find a secret Grouper wreck I know about.

Once we found the wreck we dropped anchor, and started to fish.

We started to catch a bunch of small Grouper, but after awhile we got a really nice keeper size Red Grouper.

We would have continued to fish, but there was a storm on its way and we had to run to shelter.

We took refuge on North Captiva for awhile to let the storm pass over. Then after that we headed back in with our catch!
