Spanish Mackerel caught on Sanibel & Captiva charters
Spanish Mackerel caught on Sanibel & Captiva charters

On todays charter we first went to Blind Pass. There we caught a few nice Black Drum and some small Redfish. After that we decided to go fish the Sanibel oyster bar! There we caught some larger Redfish, two huge Snook, and we had a little Shark on the line!

Once we had our limit on Redfish, we decided to finish the day off by going to Redfish Pass! There we started off my fishing inside the pass where we caught a bunch of Sea Trout, and Ladyfish! Then we moved offshore of the pass, and there we ran into a school of Spanish Mackerel! We must have caught at least 15 of them before we had to head back in.

The fishing around here is always good, but today it was amazing!

Please call 239-472-8658 or email captjoefred@gmail to book a Sanibel & Captiva Islands or Fort Myers fishing guide trip – or we can head up to North Captiva or Cayo Costa Islands for a shelling charter!

We’re located at Castaways Marina, Santiva, Sanibel Island, just before the Blind Pass bridge to Captiva Island.

Whether you’re a longtime customer who has fished with us for many years or a first-time customer, expert fisherman or just a family with young children out to catch fish and have fun, you are going to enjoy being out in the boat with Hank and me!  We greatly appreciate your friendship and business!!!

If you had a good time fishing with Hank and me on a Sanibel & Captiva fishing charter, please post an “excellent” review on Google Places Reviews.  Huge thanks for doing this!
