Here is a photo from a few weeks ago of a nice Blacktip Shark that we caught on the incoming tide inshore of Captiva.

The fishing has been very good lately, we have been catching lots of Redfish and Snook near Sanibel, and the Spanish Mackerel have really started biting well in Redfish Pass. The Grouper season also opened up recently and we are about to start fishing for them too!

On today’s charter we went to fish one of the rock piles that are offshore of Captiva.

There we got into some really fantastic Grouper fishing!

The Grouper season just opened back up. They are a fantastic eating fish.

If you are brave enough you can ask me to try and hook you up with a Goliath Grouper, those this will give you the toughest fight you will ever experience.

Just let me know if you want to try and catch a Goliath before we leave the dock so that I can grab the rod we will need to catch the beast!
