On todays charter we went to fish Blind Pass.

At first we were catching the usual fish Redfish Snook, but after a little bit of time passed we hooked and caught this huge Redfish!

It was 23 pounds, and 40 inches long! A truly spectacular catch!

The odd thing about this fish was that he was missing a piece on his back. After looking closely I realized that a Dolphin had taken a piece out of him, and he lived to tell the tale!

On todays third charter, I decided to mix things up a little and go fish at Buck Key oyster bar!

There instead of fishing with shrimp like we did at Chadwick’s, we fished with small hunks of meat!

Even though it was a different spot, and we were using a different type of bait, we still caught the same type of fish as we did at Chadwick’s: Snook, Redfish, and lots of Sea Trout!

On todays charter I decided to go fish the grass flats inshore of Captiva!

It’s been a while since I decided to fish the flats. The only way to fish the grass flats this time of year is with a lure. This is usually an action packed way to fish, we can catch a bunch of fish very quickly.

Today, we caught tons of Ladyfish, along with a few nice sized Sea Trout!
