Today, the ocean was too rough to go out.

This is a picture of a Grouper that we caught yesterday right before we saw a huge school of Redfish!

Sunday, 2/10/13: Sanibel, Captiva & Fort Myers Fishing Report ~ Fort Myers, Sanibel & Captiva: Huge school of Redfish offshore of Captiva!

On todays charter, we went offshore of Captiva!

At first we were catching Grouper and Snapper as we usually do when fishing offshore, but then to my surprise a huge school of Redfish showed up!

It was amazing! I would guess that there were more then 200 fish in the school!

Everyday is amazing on Sanibel & Captiva charters, so book a charter now!

On todays charter, we spent the day fishing at Redfish Pass!

At frist we were fishing the middle of the pass, where we were catching tons of Ladyfish and Spanish Mackerel!

After catching them for about two hour we moved over to the rock pile on the Captiva side of the pass.

There we caught two huge Snook, three big Redfish, and a bunch of Grouper and Snapper!

On todays charter we first fished at the Buck Key oyster bar!

There we caught five big Redfish and two huge Sea Trout! After that we went to a rock pile offshore of Captiva to fish for Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and Grouper!

There we caught a bunch of nice sized Grouper!

On todays charter, we went back offshore of Captiva!

There we began to catch a ton of little Snapper, along with the occasional Grouper, or huge Sheepshead.

After spending about two hours there we had caught five huge Sheepshead, and ten nice sized Grouper!

Before we headed in we made a quick stop at Blind Pass!

There we did a couple drifts through the pass; on those drifts we caught four nice Snook, and three big Sea Trout!

On todays charter, we had a lot of fun!

We first went to Blind Pass, where we caught a bunch of small Snook and a few big Redfish!

After that we went offshore of Sanibel to fish for Sheepshead, Grouper, and Snapper!

The Snapper weren’t biting, but the Grouper and Sheepshead were! After we caught about ten nice sized Grouper and two huge Sheepshead, we decided before we headed in to make a quick stop in Redfish Pass!

At Redfish Pass we were catching Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Ladyfish, and a few Sea Trout!

The fishing has been unbelievable this winter, so come on down, book a charter and have the fishing experience of your dreams!

On todays charter we went to Blind Pass!

The day was great warm, sunny, and action packed!

We caught a ton of fish! Including a bunch of Black Drum, a few Sheepshead and Snapper, a bunch of small Redfish, and every now and then we would catch a big Snook as well!
