Tarpon caught last year in Boca Grande Pass, Sanibel & Captiva Islands & Fort Myers Charters & Fishing Guide Service.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

130 pound Tarpon caught inshore of Captiva, Sanibel & Captiva Islands & Fort Myers Charters & Fishing Guide Service.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Today it was raining so no fishing…<\/p>\n

However, I am pleased to report that the main Tarpon schools have started to arrive!<\/p>\n

They are moving through Captiva Pass now, and in another few days they will start going through Boca Grande Pass!<\/p>\n

In Boca Grande Pass we fish for Tarpon a little differently then we fish for them inshore of Captiva. instead \u00a0of \u00a0casting out a live or cut bait, we instead use a special tarpon lure.<\/p>\n

Also, instead of casting out a bait and then waiting for a fish to find it, we use a fish finder to find the schools of fish. We then drop the lure down onto the school, and hope one takes the bait!<\/p>\n
