Captain Joe Burnsed Sr., my dad, and Laurel, my mom, raised me on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, and taught me all about fishing and shelling on Sanibel and Captiva. \u00a0My dad has had some significant health issues, so he doesn’t get out on the water much anymore.<\/p>\n

Hank is my dog and first mate (most of the time).<\/p>\n

Charlie runs all our web & moble operations and is my first mate when he is in Captiva. \u00a0Charlie and Hank manage to get along when they are on the boat just fine and there isn’t any tension about who really is the “first” mate!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re big advocates of catch and release, particularly for snook, but pretty much\u00a0for most species. \u00a0Only take what you are going to eat, and a lot of fish are better off as sport fish, even if they are in season. \u00a0Our motto is let \u2018em get bigger and catch \u2018em again!<\/p>\n

The quickest and best way to book a charter is to book online<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span>. \u00a0Just click the link in the previous sentence, the calendar on the left rail\u00a0on most pages of the web sites, or the book online menu item\u00a0in mobile and and you can see availability and book a charter in a couple of clicks.<\/p>\n

If I’m booked up on the calendar, call us because I often run a 3rd charter, either a kids trip at midday for a couple of hours or a late afternoon trip from 4-7 PM. \u00a0We\u00a0can also line you up with our other guides, Captains Josh, Jimmy and Lamar.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
