Wednesday, 6/29/11 … goliath grouper off Blind Pass, Captiva

We again caught plenty of trout, lady fish, and spanish mackerel on our charter today.

And we found those goliath grouper that we weren’t able to go after yesterday.

Caught three goliath grouper in the gulf off Blind Pass.  We had four more on the line but we couldn’t land them.

It was another good Captiva charter day.  We haven’t had a lot to complain about lately.  The fish are biting and we are catching a wide diversity of species.  Pretty much everything is available if we’re using the right bait and fishing the right tides.

The tarpon are moving out but there is still plenty of activity in Boca Grande.  My guess is that it will last another week or so.

Fair winds and following seas,
