Monday, March 26, 2012 ~ already seeing tarpon on Sanibel & Captiva fishing charters!

The Tarpon are here early this year!

Amazingly, I have already seen tarpon in the last couple of days and it’s only March 26th!

If you have never fished for tarpon before here’s some info about them.

They average between 100 lbs and 150 lbs and around five feet in length.

They are an awesome fight because of their ability to jump once they’re hooked!   They make a great picture and are fun for all ages.

The action will be heating up at Boca Grande Pass soon

So book a charter and see if you can catch one!

Let’s go Sanibel & Captiva fishing – or shelling!  It is almost Boca Grande Pass tarpon fishing time!
