Yesterday we went Shark fishing, we caught a bunch of small Sharks, and one nice six foot Nurse Shark!

On todays charter we first went fishing in Blind Pass.

There we caught some nice Snook, including a really fat one! Then we went to the Sanibel oyster bar.

There we caught some four or five nice Redfish.

The past two years have been amazing for Redfish, and the Snook have really recovered since the 2009 winter Snook kill.

Even though the Snook have come along way, we hope that the state of Florida decided to keep the season closed on them until they come back in full force.

There we got into a school of Spanish Mackerel, we caught about ten fish within one hour.

Here is a photo of a nice Goliath Grouper that was caught offshore of Captiva.

The season for Goliath Grouper has just started and we will be able to catch them until the middle of November.

Even though Goliath Grouper fights are short, they are incredibly strong, and pound for pound are one of the best fighting fish in the world.

If you want to try and catch one, let me know before we leave the dock so I can grab the rod that I need for the job.
