On today’s charter we started the day with a fantastic view!  This is why I personally advise that you get an early charter, so you can get this view of a lifetime!

After enjoying the view for a while we decided to head up to Redfish Pass to fish it’s rock wall. After doing that for a while we managed to catch a couple of huge Snook, but the action was slow so we moved off looking for a better spot.

We then went to Captiva Pass where we went Shark fishing!  We caught one big Bull Shark, he was about six feet long and 130 pounds.  After we released him, the sharks stopped biting, so we went to a Sea Trout hole inshore of Cayo Casta!

There we finally had some consistent fishing!  We landed, and release about 40 Sea Trout within an hour and a half of our arrival to the spot.

And the big finale of our day was when we were heading back into port we saw some Dolphins playing offshore of Captiva Island!

On today’s charter we went to fish the oyster beds, and the mangrove forests inshore of Sanibel Island!

We mostly caught Snook.

We must have caught 50 of the through the course of the day, but we also caught a few Red Drums, a lot of small Snapper and Sea Trout, and we also caught one or two Flounder!

On today’s charter we decided to go back out to the gulf!  We went to an old ship wreck about ten miles offshore.

There at first all we were catching were monster Snook and a few Snapper, but after a while the Grouper started biting!

Then we took the Goliath rod out to try and catch some Goliath Grouper! After about 15 minutes we had a bite!  Watch the video above to see how the fight went!

On today’s charter we went offshore of North Captiva to fish a ship wreck!

At first  with the incoming tide we were catching small Grouper and some Sharks, but after the tide changed the Goliath Groupers started to bite!

We landed five fish in two hours, after that we stopped at Blind Pass so we could make a couple of drifts, we caught a few Snook and a lot of Flounder in about 20 minutes!

We caught 18 Snook and this huge Redfish, then we went inshore of Captiva where we caught a few more smaller Redfish a couple of Sea Trout!

There we caught Grouper, Snook, and Redfish!  Then we went offshore of North Captiva where we caught small Sharks and King Mackerel!

On today’s charter we went offshore of Captiva. First fish an old ship wreck, then we went to a rock pile about four miles offshore.

At the ship wreck we caught two Goliath Grouper, a lot of Spanish Mackerel, five small Grouper, and a few small Stingrays!

At the rock pile we caught Snook, Hog Snapper, Grouper, Ladyfish, and we caught a small King Mackerel!
